Can't find information on my boat. Help?

I own a 1950 Spectrum/Bluefin (1991) 189 HP 4.3 L Alpha I with Mercruiser lower end.

For the life of me, I cannot find much if any information about this boat. I need repair manual with illustration breakouts, all that stuff.

I have a leak from the bellows (assuming) and a cracked exhaust manifold port side I can see. The motor runs great but am questioning its reliability. I sheared a distributor gear last year, thankfully no damage to the crank though. I built a fishing deck in the rear and removed the jump seats to install captains chairs. Installed 55lb thrust 52" shaft trolling motor, GPS Chartplotter, 36" livewell, four fishing seats, and all new wood and carpet.

If anyone could hook me up with links to information would be awesome.

You most likely won't find a manual specific to your boat. Very few manufacturers produced them and if they did they were most often just safe boating procedures and things like that. However, a factory service manual for your specific motor/drive will be invaluable. The link rs1lollie posted above is great.

That is the same problem that most of us BlueFin owners have.... lack of boat info. I suggest that you go to the BlueFin specific page at the bottom of the main forum page. In there, is a posting with the address and phone number of Brunswick, which bought BlueFin and Spectrum. If you call them, they might have some info.... keyword is "might".

Other than your engine problem, what type of information are you looking for?
