Ok so I got a 84 bayliner with the aq125a in it. It sat for a couple years in her drive way so I rescued it it got the things cleaned up had to get the fuel pump working again all the fun little things took carb off and cleaned it but here's the problem the little needle to the side that squirts fuel in works great for initial start up motor runs great on that but boat won't idle any more the needle/jet in the middle won't spit out fuel unless I turn idle screw up motor will idle at 3000 rpm can't imagine that's right what's everyone's opinion could it just need a carb rebuild

Ayuh,.... Welcome Aboard,...... It sounds like it needs the carb Rebuilt, for Sure,...

Idle should be 650/ 750 rpms,....

Sounds like the low-speed circuit is plugged, Solid,...
