Can't remove flame arrestor due to clearance

I can't remove the flame arrestor to clean it. It's'98 5.0Gi TBI injection has the offset stud and two injectors in the way. In searching online it appears that the stud unscrews, but we can't do that with the flame arrestor in the way. Any ideas?

Maybe to clean it we can just tip it back and put some rags under it to spray it with carb cleaner, rotate and clean, rotate and clean, etc?

Thanks!

Grab the stud with vise grips or pliers and unscrew
The stud is bent somewhat like the what is in yellow

Thank you @alldodge, I will give unscrewing the stud another attempt, it seems like the only way, and maybe if I lift the arrestor straight up I can still get to the bottom of the stud. The stud is loose and turns easily, but lacks the room to move due to being offset/bent. I am trying to be careful with the injectors right there and not to drop anything in the throttle body.

If and when I can get the arrestor off, should I spray clean the throttle body with sea foam carb cleaner and engine running? Or do any other maintenance while the flame arrestor is off?

Opinion:
In most all cases spraying cleaner on the outside of a TB does little to help. Cleaning the arrestor does help if its dirty

Thank you, I meant spraying down the throttle into the intake while the engine is running, like this Sea Foam video shows.

The engines start, idle, and run fairly smoothly now (980 hours), so I worry about screwing that up, ha ha.

Another my Opinion:
Seafoam is snake oil, nothing can be fixed by spraying stuff down the bore. Others like the stuff. Your motor has sensors which may have issues with the chemicals

Thank you! If it ain't broke... especially with 23 year old TBI that is still working good, ha ha.
