Canvas Cabin cover for '84 Starcraft Islander 191V

I recently bought an '84 StarCraft Islander. It came with a very worn canvas cover that snaps from windshield to transom. I'm looking for a replacement, preferably off the shelf or lightly used. Any suggestions? (I already contacted one local canvas shop about getting one made and was quoted $900-$1,200, which is WAY out of my budget!) Thanks for any suggestions.

Yep, local shop is probably your best bet.

Might get lucky and find 1 used, but if a cover was still serviceable, why would they sell it?

That's about what they cost. If you do find something, let us know. Your other option is a non-custom bimini top, but it won't fit like the original.

Thanks for the suggestions. I ended up cleaning and patching the old cover, and treating with Starbrite Waterproofing, which really made a difference. I was also able to buy a snap tool at JoAnn's and add some new female snaps where needed to accommodate the shrinkage of the canvas.
