OK everyone,
I was finely able to get started on my boat that was posted a couple of months ago. It is a Caprice mfg and I was able to take pictures as mother nature was being rather kind to me this afternoon. As I tear down the stringers and prepare to sand, patch, and make new stringers for the deck, I'm asking if there is any advice anyone can give me besides good luck??? This is my first build and I think so far I like it. Here are some pictures of my Caprice mfg

Re: Caprice mfg pictures

take good measurements ahead of time! We are in the process of rebuilding an older boat from stringers up. The first stringer looked good and was strong but we didn't notice it moved while setting it and when we tried to put the gas tank back in guess what? didn't fit. Lucky for me, my father can weld so we just resized the tank to fit the boat. Good luck, have patience and it will be very rewarding when it really starts to come together.
