N. end of Sabine Lake very shallow. There's three small islands, old spoil bank from dredging the IntraCoastal. Great wade fishing behind them. On plane my ftats boat can run in 8" water. The bar between the islands is about 12" more or less depending on tide
Turned out of the IC between two island shutdown to anchor and wade fish. Hear fast boat coming look up and see a Donzi type following my old wake. At full boogie.
On impact the young girl sunbathing on the fore deck goes butt skiing. Go get her, she a little freaky, loss her top. Fine. Take her back to fast boat pick up Capt. Stupid and go to nearest landing, a fish camp.
While talking with them learned he was new to boat, second trip after ride with salesman. New to the area (from Houston) he had no charts of the area, showed him mine, had to explain how to read/ use.
