Need some advice and suggestions.

2010 Mustang Convertible. Vinyl top, leather interior.

The top is tan and is in great shape. I would just like to clean it and apply some type of preservative.

-Any ideas on products or perhaps a kit?

Leather interior. Seats are in great shape. Again, I'd just like to clean and preserve leather.

-Same, any ideas for products or a kit?

Thanks.

Mine is a 1997 Mustang convertible, tan vinyl top, tan cloth upholstery....replaced the top about 2 years ago. I use Maguiars Leather cream on my Buick's leather seats, Armoral with sunscreen on my convertible top. The very best thing you can do to preserve your top, leather and paint is to keep your car out of the sun and weather as much as possible....carport, garage, etc.....

Is the Armoral also a cleaner.

Unfortunately, the car sits in the Arizona sun all day but is garaged when not is use.

The Armoral is a good cleaner and preserver, comes in a spray bottle, buy it a Walmart, etc....for the textured vinyl top material application with a small brush works to clean into the surface....That Arizona sun/UV is gonna be rough on your car's surfaces!....

Car cover??? It may be redneck but I use ATF on plastic. Wipe on and wipe off....it will make headlights look new!

I wouldn't put Armoral on anything, especially a convertible top.

There is a reason you void most convertible top warranties by putting these "protectants" on them. Just keep it clean and out of the sun if at all possible.

As far as the leather is concerned, this is the best stuff I have found:

It is expensive but worth it.

Pop in to a detailer enthusiast site. There is a whole other world of products that you won't have likely heard about but is what the enthusiasts use. Just buffing your car is a multi product, many step project versus what you'd think if you just judged based on what is available retail. Based on those sites, Armoral is in the Bose and Sea Ray Sport category or so the enthusiast write.

I use this companies car care products and while they get are a bit pricey, the results are off the charts good. Try em once and you will never buy another product from a store. My truck gets waxed twice a year and it looks like a million $$$$. Worth a look
