carb bowl sealing?

1995 150 Evinrude. Plastic carbs. Does anyone have any thoughts on sealer to keep bowls from leaking? Plastic warps over time & i wonder if just the new carb kits will seal well enough?
Gobs of good info here...... Helps me a LOT.

I believe they sell metal bowls now..due to the problems of the plastic ones.....check them out...

there was a post here some one got them...they may even be the repacement bowls now....call a OMC parts place and ask...but like I said lots here have gotten the metal bowls....

Make sure the floats + inlet needles are set correctly. That is what keeps the carbs from leaking.
