Carb cleaner spray....?

The kind of stuff that you can buy at wally world in the automobile section... Can it be used on our outboards, following the directions on the can?<br /><br />I'm planning on fogging the carbs and cylinders but thought about cleaning the carbs first, possibly without removing them...

Do you really want the dirt ect... falling from one carb onto the next carb?<br /><br />Why not just take them off clean them up inside and out at the same time?<br /><br />TMD
