Carb Cleaning?

I working on a carb from a 25hp johnson and I need to know if it is ok to soak the whole carb body in carb cleaner once I have removed the float bowl, float, float needle, and low speed needle?

With exception of the float it's self soak it all.If the float is made of metal soak it to. You are going to replace all the seals and gaskets any way so soak on. :p

Then take an air nozzle and blow out all the little orifices<br />You can in a pinch after soaking use compressed carb cleaner to clean them out.

get a can of evinrude/johnson engine tuner and spray into your carb let it set for a hour or so and start it up i did it own my 15 horse rude and now it is starting to get life back in it <br /><br />Ps: my motor has set up for 5 years and a little of that engine tuner it works good get it at your local dealer
