carb for an OMC 5.0 liter GM

Hello,
My last post was asking the H.P. rating of my OMC 5.0 liter GM motor and I really appreciate all the input I received, but now I would like to ask all of you which carb would be the best for my boat? It's completely stock and all I want is dependability and not "go fast". I've looked at a Rochester 4MV but am "iffy" because of stories I've heard about "short life" and poor design. The other carb was Holley's 600 CFM 4160 series, any comments will be greatly appreciated....

Both will work, but it is like an oil thread; everybody think differently. You only need 450 cfm for a 5.0. And IMHO, the Q-jet will perform better, rather than trying to tune the Holley. (Coors runs from Boom... hehe)
