Hello all. I recently purchased an 82 skipjack 20 with a volvo penta 5.7 engine. The carb is nasty looking and Id just like to replace it as it looks the gaskets are weeping. The flame arrester has a hose going to each valve cover and a nipple that has a hose going down to the fuel pump. Is this correct ?

It has a rochester carb and the number is 17085013. Any help is greatly appreciated. The carb rebuilder is thinking the wrong carb was adapted to my engine

Yes that is correct. The fuel pump vent line and both crank case vents go to the spark arrestor.

Post your engine model number. Some came with Rochesters, some came with Holleys
