I currently am running a Rochester 2bbl carb on my 2.3 omc I am wondering if switching to a Holley 4412 would be better performance wise I don't know much on how to adjust the Rochester but do have some experience with the Holley

are you experiencing operational issues, or merely you want to go faster

your 2.3 liter pinto motor is already at the max hp output that you can get without a turbocharger or other power booster. for more performance you may need more motor.

the 4412 is not a marine carb if memory serves me, so that is an explosion waiting to happen.

Wasn't looking for more speed just wondering if it would be better on me having to adjust but if it's like you say than I'll just have to study up on the Rochester carb ! Thanks for the advise

Holley does make a marine version of the 4412, Holley #0-80402-1, however, to utilize the flow capacity of it(500 cfm), your engine would need to be turning 12,000 rpm. Even its little brother 300 cfm, 0-80320-1, is way too big. The Rochester is a good carb, not difficult to understand. HP Books used to have a very good book on Rochester carbs.
