Hello all. I need a little help please. i have 1992 200 johnson that has been bored 20 over it still has factory jets is this ok or do they need changed to compensate for the slightly larger bore. Also when engine is WO i have to back off the throttle to get her to run best like not getting enough fuel. I am still running on VRO but it is a new BRP brand.
Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

post a pic of the cam roller and throttle cam in neutral. i'd go up a size or 2 on the high speed orifices to be safe. push the primer in at WOT... does it pick up rpm, drop, or pretty much stay the same? do the same for mid range as well.

Is this the motor you replaced rings in? Did you mike the cylinders? Could be a wasted effort if past wear limit.

Yes this is the engine that I replaced the piston rings & crank rings in. No did not check for wear. Yes it may have been wasted time but I have learned a lot by doing it. I got it back together & it runs quiet well. Can I just pull the heads & check the wear. Here is the pics of the cam roller

Hard to tell, but i'm pretty sure you are missing the all-important outer clear roller sleeve on your cam roller, and its hard to tell but looks like it's touching the throttle cam. Good news is new ones are quite cheap. Get one asap, and make sure it's got a few thousands gap at idle, the synch n link procedure must be followed, as well as the forward gear in water idle speed and proper fitting of throttle cable after that's all done.

There is a roller on mine it’s black but maybe there is a piece clear plastic sleeve that goes over it. I see it in the parts diagram so I get it ordered
