I have the the parts breakdown but need advice as to where they go. kit has two red washers, two white nylon washers, and two cork or other material washers. all are about same size. What I am thinking is two cork type on high speed, and white and red on low speed. or maybe two cork and two white on low speed and two red on hi speed. any expert advice appreciated, no guessing please. Engine is 35 hp gale, 1960.
thanks

The parts manual calls for 4 of the packing washers (cork) on the high speed needle, and a nylon (white) washer followed by 2 packing washers on the low. I cannot recall ever needing 4 on the high though. I usually use 2 or 3 on both.

Thanks Trim, what I learned today was that the red packings won't fit the bore, so I used one cork and one old packing and one nylon washer. red packings either go somewhere else or are for diff carb. also saved old packings if i need more.
