carb pickup tube cracked?? one one each carb?

Just got a new to me 1988 johnson 110 hp powerhead just started to take apart carbs to clean/rebuild them and found a pickup tuibe in each carb had a long crack runnning the length of the tube on the bowl side of the carb. Will this cause any problems and do I need to replace the cracked ones or both at the same time? And if need replacement is it tough to get them out and where do I find the replacements.

If you are talking about the brass high-speed nozzles that are pressed into the aluminum carb bodies, then it's carb replacement time, sorry to say.

Yes, the emulsion tube. I goolgled and came accross a therad in IBOATS thatsaid
one guy sodered it and it was good to go.
Anybody have any experience with the soder quick fix?
