carb Primers-retrofit a 79 v4

I'm buying some carbs that use primers They are off a 84 v6 and the part number is 394329 if anyone could check that year for me. Also Should there be a pump that sends the fuel to the nozzles and if so where does it mount on the v6 and where would I put it on my 79 v4. <br />Also do I use the same fuel pump I've always used?<br /><br />Thanks

All you need to do is repalce your choke solenoid with the primer pump. It fits in the same bracket. Youll need the plastic manifold from a newer V4 crossflow. Its more like a plastic tube than a manifold but thats what they call it. It will have the extra nipple to feed fuel to the primer pump.<br /><br />Your existing fuel pump will work just fine. The one thing youll have to fabricate is the cam follower. Youll see as soon as you get the V6 carbs. No big deal.
