Carb question

Have been looking at carbs for my 1983 V6 150, serial number is the same as mine but WH numbers are different. One carb that came off a v-6 200hp is WH-28, one came off a 150hp is WHM-23. One just says WH. MIne is a WH-23.
What is the difference? Would they all interchange with mine?

Usually the carbs off a 200 would have a bigger bore. They might (big MIGHT) give you a slight bit more top end, but they will kill your hole shot. They would have to be rejetted (which ain't real cheep) to even work at all.

They all have the same bolt pattern.

I'd stick to the original carbs if I were you.

What about the ones that came off the other 150hp v6? Instead of WH-23 it is whm-23. Thanks
