carb rebuild kits

I did a search but do not see my motor listed.

I have a 1977 Mercury 850 85hp and need carb rebuild kits. Motor # is 4537704.

I have the inline carbs, one has WM 5-1 stamped on it and the other has WM 5-3 stamped on it. Does this help? I still cannot find a rebuild kit. I searched here on iboats and WM 5 is not an option, i'm lost.

I found it's a 1976 not 1977 like i posted.

I don't know why i was having a problem finding the gasket kits but i took a different route to find them and ta-da!

I have serial # 4540527 and I was thinking that same thing. I assumed it was a typo in the system. Now I just need to find a link to a manual that works.

Because Sierra and Mallory do not make a rebuild kit for that carb, try OEM part, Quicksilver 812953

make sure to get merc. needle seats, i have had bad luck with bulb not getting hard with sierra brand
