I found the fuel pump rebuild kit ok, but now I need carb rebuild kits for my 87 Force 125. Sierra tech support said they don't produce them, and a dealer told me they are no longer available. What? Where do I go from here? I am sure these carbs need rebuilding. Any sources where I may get something older off the shelf maybe?

Most times the carb just needs a cleaning.
Most times the seal on the float bowl is all you need. Take it apart and see how corroded it is?
The modern soaks aren't a good thing for some of the carbs.
They swell the rubber and can melt plastic.
I use Dawn soap or the Purple Power stuff.
I use it(PP) for the soak if needed
I found the hard way.
I was soaking a carb and put it back together and it wouldn't get fuel??
The needle/seat had a small o-ring in it and it swelled and shut off the fuel.
It eventually dried out but took a while to figured out.

OK, thanks, yeah I did a lot more research on it and after one boat place told me it was no longer available, another one I contacted came back to me and showed me how it had been superceded but still available in the newer number, which is indeed the FK10103 number as stated above. by Jiggs!

JerryJerry05, yeah I had read that on a few posts on here and that is what I am going to TRY first, as I haven't even taken them off the motor yet. Someone somewhere, I can't remember where now I was researching in so many places, pointed out that the gasket you mentioned is part of a gasket kit that includes the manifold gasket and two smaller ones that I am not sure where they go yet. That kit is FK10023. At least I am hoping that is right.

I will find out soon!

The kit is generic the extra gaskets fit different applications.
My "extra bin" is full of stuff that isn't used.
