I just finished cleaning/rebuilding the carb, decarb'd the engine, and changed the plugs(QL77JC4).I am now trying to do the synchronization of the carb according to my Clymer manual. It is very vague on the procedure. It says when the cam roller is in between the marks on the cam,the throttle valve(butterfly?)should be closed(It is).At what point should the throttle valve be opening? The next part is the throttle control rod adjustment. The throttle lever touches the rubber stop and the butterfly is in the fully open position when I advance the throttle all the way.Is that right?<br />After I get this right,I'll be setting the low-speed needle valve and checking the maximum spark advance. How do you guys check this?going full speed down the river, with a test wheel in a tank?
