just got myself a carb tester off ebay with no instructions
as a completet noob where do i plug the tubes into and what sort of readings should i get (if good)

Methinks ya got a Mercury (the fluid, not the motor) Vacuum guage meant for motorcycles...works off the vacuum ports on motorcycles...ya just need to Link and Sync an OB
Tell us what symptoms you have first. Merc inline 6's are finicky. Why don't you start another thread with a title of "Merc inline 6 carb problem", then list your problem..dump this thread
i did that scatty but never really got an answer so gave up
the thread is called symptoms found by clicking on my name or using the search so any help would be good
