Carb throttle bent (brand new)

I drove 40 miles out to the boat today to swap my 2 barrel Mercarb. I just got done removing the old one off my engine (needs another cleaning and rebuild). I thought I’d save time this year and mount a brand new carb until I get some time to clean the old one again. I pulled the new one out of its box and I find the throttle arm is completely bent. It’s so bad you can’t even move the throttle at all.
