carbon fiber reeds

does anyone know of anyother carbon fiber reeds out there other than boysen? to use in a 90 hp evinrude.

believe there are some cheaper reed than boysen,
but they are probaly not something that you want save money on
boysen seems to have been around for awhile .and are supposed to have
decent tec support .

Stock reeds are fine for normal use of your motor and will far outlive the aftermarket reeds. Unless you have a real need or desire to compete, that is a lot of money for the end result.

my stock reeds are no good so i figured i would upgrade to carbon fiber but i hear boysen reeds are good for about 200 hours then there no good!

Longevity is only part of the issue; cost has to be part of any good choice when you are dealing with engines.

Search the forum for tips on upgrades for V4 crossflows by DHadley. He has the best information from a wealth of experience.
