I have a 1997 Powerquest, with a Carburated 7.4 L 454 Mag. It seems every week when I start it up, I get quite alot of nasty black crap/grease that sticks to the transom. Any ideas at all on reducing this? Does my carburetor need adjustments? Seems to run great though, no issues. Just sick of cleaning off that nasty crap when I take it out of the water!(I have to use 409 or Simple Green to take the carborized crap off)
