hey guys I took the air box off my carbs today and noticed that the second and fourth carb appear to be leaking some gas. doesn't look like a large amount and there was some gas and oil residue pooled on the web of the bottom one. I am just wondering if Thisis normal or not. and if not what does it mean? Do I need to replace the diaphragms? also there is a foam gasket on the bottom edge of my gearbox air box that was peeled off of one side looks like maybe it dissolved or rotted away. do I need to purchase a new gasket and if so what is it called? I had considered just putting some gasket seal on it and screwing it back together as a temporary solution. Thanks in advance for any help James

so at least for the time being I just made a gasket out of some vinyl and attached it west RTV sealant. do you guys think this will be adequate as a long term solution? I have attached a picture

You may need to clean it up and trace the source of the leak. The gasket in your photo is to seal the air box. When you trim your motor up high, gas runs out of the carbs and will collect in the air box and dump down to bottom carb. RTV is not going to seal it as gas will dissolve RTV but I do think they make a special sealant that is resistant to fuel.
