Carburator for 1975 4 Cyl GM

I am looking for a carb. for a 1975 4 cyl. GM Mercruiser motor. This a 2 bbl.the one I have is past the rebuild stage.<br />Thanks

Is there not a specific marine carb? I understood you wanted the marine version to prevent fuel dumping on the manifold (or some such thing). Or do NAPA sell marine carbs?<br /><br />I think mine is in the same state.

Try this again.<br /><br />I have the same motor as the person asking the original question.<br /><br />I want to get a new (or reman) carb for my boat and am curious if NAPA sells the marine version of what I need or just the automotive version. Just seems like it would be less expensive from Napa.<br /><br />Oh, And I checked IBoats out and can't find a listing for what I need. Kinda old for there stuff.

NAPA does indeed stock marine parts. Give 'em a call and see if they can hook you up.

Which is what I Thought I said.....<br /><br />What's your Make,+ Model.....<br />I've got a copy of NAPA's Marine Products catalog right here.....<br />Call NAPA,+ tell them you'd like a copy of part# MSP-7.....

Called Napa and they can't find it (part of the problem being in Canada).<br /><br />It's the basic Rochester 2v carb used on the GM Inline 4 (and maybe 6's).<br /><br />Marine place wants $380. Unless there is another option (I don't want someones junk off EBay, I've looked and not seen anything I think I would buy), I'll pick it up.

NAPA part # for the 1975 120hp is 18-7609.....<br />NAPA part # for the 1975 140hp is 18-7608....<br />This info is found in NAPA catalog # MSP-7....
