I have a 1990 sea race Sundancer with a seven. 4 L motor. I recently got around to getting a motor to get put back into her that has the Quadra jet four barrel carburetor on it with I believe what it’s called the divorced chalk, the choke mechanism was mounted on the intake. My question to you professionals is do you suggest on me keeping that choke and putting a new one on it or converting it over to a different style? I don’t have any experience when it comes to these divorced chokes at all so let me know

I would buy the one that said truck and marine

FWIW..... I havent had a choke or air-horn for over a year now. yes, the engine takes an extra squirt to prime, however she fires right off every time.
