Carburetor Gasket Kits????

I have a 1984 9.8 and in the process of rebuilding the carb. I am unable to find any dealership or online that has just the gasket kit. Dealers want $50.00 for a complete kit which includes it all. Is there any kits out there just for gaskets that are cheaper than this??? Carb # 1364-4929 WMB-3 stamped 1/84... Any help would be great....

Gasket kit is #18-7007 from Sierra or NAPA or Prime Line

Part #7007 is the kit you need.

Try ebasicpower.com They have quite a few of the normal maintenance and repair parts at fairly good prices.

merc part number is 1395-9027 I looked sierra it didn't match up to the 18-7007 but it might

There are a couple of life's lessons here.
1. Never use a cross reference when looking up parts, Bad info in leads to bad info out.
2. Don't cast doubt on others for what ever reason, unless you have your facts together.
3. Always open the parts catalog to the parts listing and read it, here's a copy hamit.

You need to get a real catalog, these internet suppliers tend to not deal in slower moving parts thats what holds thier prices down. If nothing else go to a NAPA store and ask for their marine catalog.
