I have a two barrel, spare Mericruiser carb that needs to be rebuilt but don't have time to do it myself. My last one went to Flying Fish carbs but I really wasn't happy with it and spent a bunch of time fussing adjusting it myself to get it to run properly. I couldn't find any prior posts on the subject (which has to be my awful search fu as this one has to be a common question....

In any case, any suggestions on rebuild shops would be much appreciated.

I am ok shipping it but am located in Western Pennsylvania. None of my gear head friends had any local recommendations though.

Hmmm, I am in the Seattle area. I looked but couldn't find the guy's contact info that I got a 4 barrel Quadrajet from but I just realized the carb I got from him as marine does not have the overflow tubes going back into the carb.. Guess I can't help.. Check a local speed shop for carb repair in your area. You would have to explain the differences with marine carbs in all likelihood...
