Sure, it's a little on the big side, but it'll work. Just strap it down very well. I've put an 11 footer on the top of a minivan before. It's a two man job for sure though. It's a little too heavy and awkward for one person.

Sure, will depend entirely on roof width to secure properly, strap as it would be on water...

Thank you guys.My car is Suzuki Esteem Wagon.The length of the car is exactly the length of the boat.There are built in roof rucks.Should I put any additional supports between roof and the boat?

I've carried my 17' canoe on top of my Buick sedan for 20+ years with no problems. I use those closed cell foam rubber pads on the gunwales and a tie down strap on the back and 2 tie down straps on the front. Of course if you had a roof rack it would be great. Good Luck!
