Cartridge for Garmin GPS235

I just bought a boat with a Garmin GPS235Sounder witch I think is a 1995 model.It came with a <br />G-chart cartridge(#GUS151FM) that has 1995 on the label.Can I put a modern(04-05) Bluechart cartridge in? I think the cartridge # is MUS027R.Thanks for your help!

I'm 99% sure the answer is "no". Garmin stopped making and supporting the G-Chart in November of '04 due, supposedly, to a legal dispute with a Canadian cartography company. Anyone who used to sell or burn the chips appears to be using the same Garmin boiler plate statement of discontinuance. The only place I've been able to find G-Charts is on ebay.
