Catch can on flame arrestor vents?

Noticed a good amount of oil making its way back to the carb via the valve cover vents. Would some sort of catch can (like on a EGR valve on an auto) be beneficial? or just let it go?

I`d find out why. too much oil, bad case of blow-by,cracked rings, worn bores
