Catfishing on the Grand

As an I/O boater, I don't get on the rivers much.
Found a guy on the Grand River in West Michigan that offers a charter.
He supplies the pontoon boat, poles, tackle, bait, and also cleans the fish for you.
3 person max and go out at 8:00 pm and the cost is $100,heck just the fact that he cleans the fish is worth half that.

I am very excited, going out next weekend, he has been catching 10 to 24 pounders...I know not very big for you southern states but that is quite large for michigan.
My boy will be in town for the first time in 6 months and I am taking him and his uncle out...my treat.
Its almost like waiting for christmas to get here.

Have you come across the fourms at Michigan-sportsman.com ? There is alot of valuable information and support there. Do some exploring on there, and I'm sure you will be fishing that stretch of river without a guide.
