use the yamaha parts website to determine the part numbers for the CDI for both motors.<br /> if the part numbers are the same it should work. <br /> the electronics are mostly the same. you may also look at the electrical specs for pulser coil outputs. without knowing what year the 90 is I cant help at all. the 90 will have circuits for oil alarms that the C model may not.<br /> do you have both parts in front of you?
