Celebrity -- year? other info?

Hi. Bought a Celebrity hull # CLC13766E292 (20ft bow rider, 5.0L I/). There seems to be a question as to model year. Can anyone tell from the #? Now that Celebrity has been absorbed by Bombadier (sp), I can't get any info on this boat and equipment (e.g., digital instruments, etc.). Anyone have any manuals that they want to sell or are willing to photocopy (if not too lengthy)? Thanks for the help.

I can only tell you from the HIN it is a 1992 Celebrity.<br /><br />Oh yea welcome to iboats.

Thanks. I feel a bit better. Buried in the paperwork was a "warranty notice" that stated in several places that it applied to 1991 Celebrities. Any other info that anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated. Obviously, I'm a newbie and looking for help.

I had a 1987 190CC. I owned it for 14 years. Was a rock solid boat that really held up well. I sold it the first day on the market earlier this year. I would look for the manuals online for the motor and outdrive. The owners manual for the boat are very general.

What were the warranties for? Some of the componants on your boat could have been 1991 parts, ie: guages, engine, drive, just to name a few.
