Re: ceshen

How about telling us what hp it is ? Welcome to iboats. The more info you give us , the better we can help you. You might try asking, with all the pertinent data, in the Force Outboard section.

woops , looks like it has already been moved over....

Re: ceshen

Guessing that you have a 125 or 85 HP.
The water tube is mounted on the top of the motor leg.The pics are on the gear housing.Iboats diagrams, parts #1#2#3#4#5 It's a B(*&^% to remove and install.
If you have it out it takes a bunch to replace it.J

Re: ceshen

Thanks I boat is an awesome program. Its an 85 hp. Its my first boat and have put a lot of time new parts and money on getting the motor to run correctly and go to change the impeller an i noticed the tube was loose and figured it wasnt right. I clymer force manual and was real careful on removing the tube from lower unit. Where can i find instructions on fixing this?

If it's loose leave it alone. If it came out then I believe the powerhead needs to come off.J

lol sob no i can pull it out an move it around. So the power head must come off then well the manual tells me how to do that. i also pulled the leg cover and found a black rubber gromet in the water port looks like it will fit on the tube
