Was replacing brittle gas lines on my chain saws and weed eaters.
I picked up some tygon tube gas line at a automotive parts shop and installed the new lines. The tygon tube gas lines go through the plastic gas tank and it is supposed to be a tight fit. The new lines fit tight, but the lines are seeping gas where they go into the tank.

Do the lines swell up over time and stop? Or should I find gas line made by the equipment manufacturer? Is there a installation method to make these seal?
Any help appreciated

I would check and make sure you have the right hose as some are not the same ID/OD as the origanal METRIC ???

I found that going to the dealer and getting the line saves time. Let them give you what it takes because they run into this all the time.

Some brands used a small tube or nipple that went inside the fuel line where it passed through the tank to expand and lock the line in place. I found this with some Homelites and most Ryobi trimmers and saws. I just did one trimmer I have here and the fuel pickup screen had a long tapered nipple on it that protruded down past the tank hole. You push the line through the tank far enough to reattach the screen and pull it back through enough to lock it in place.

I've had more issues with even the new lines not holding up to the ethanol in the fuel. I bought what was supposed to be Tygon line rated for ethanol and it turned to stone and shrunk after only a week. The line was light florescent green in color. Forget the yellow stuff they sell in the small packages, that don't last long enough to test run the thing.
