champion L77JC4 plugs

Question , i changed the plugs in my motor omc 1986 110 hp, i put L77JC4 plugs in the motor, the old plugs were a QL77JC4, they are gapped at about 040 are these L77JC4 plugs ok to use in the motor? Thanks for any replys

Yeah, they'll work. The "QL"'s are resistor plugs. If you get any static or funny lines on the depth finder, go to the "QL"'s.<br /><br />You can keep the gap at .040 and have a little better idle. Won't hurt top end.
