change the single prop to a dual prop

I have a 1988 Four Winns with a 460 King Cobra<br />with a single prop outdrive. I would like to know <br />if the outdrive can be changed to a more modern <br />dual prop outdrive.<br /> thanks Doug

Sure it can ,if you remove the drive ,shield and engine and replace it with a Volvo or Mercruiser package. You could buy a sheild and drive and keep your old engine and swap exhaust manifolds, bell housing ,coupler,just to name a few parts ,but it's not worth it.Manufactures make it more cost effective to buy the whole deal.
