1981 Stingray 19ft closed bow w/ Mercruiser 2.5L; I just changed the drive belt and forgot to support then engine when I removed the starboard motor mount, I didn't see it move and I was able to easily replace the bracket and get everything back together.

Did I make a big mistake? Do I need to re-align anything? I had it done in about 5 minutes, but didn't research first.....

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Brandon

Marc, thanks for the quick reply! I trust your response, but IF, a big IF something were to have come misaligned, is there anything obvious I should look out for? I am trying to educate myself as much as possible.

If it's misaligned your coupler will wear out.
The only way to check is to remove drive and check alignment.
It's a good idea to do that yearly anyway.
