Changing gearcase oil

How do you get the oil to go into the gearcase on the lower unit. Seems like gravity is working against me!! help!

Easy.<br /><br /> http://www.brokeboats.com/lulube3.html <br /><br />When the bottle is not full, either fill it up to the top or squeeze it until oil starts to come out and then stick it in the fill hole (bottom). <br />BTW Put NEW bright coloured washers in the recesses. Keep squeezing til the bubbles stop coming out the top hole.

Try using a piece of plastic tubing that fits snug in the fill hole and long enough to get above the vent. Let gravity do the rest.
