Changing Outdrive Oil

The manual for my alpha 1 says the drive must be all the way down when changing the oil. I can't get the drive low enough when on the trailer. Can I still do the oil change?

drive the trailer wheels up on some lifts, without being level , the fill may not be accurate

2 x 10`s with supports
hyd jack and some blocks
back up to a curb
