Changing props what to expect

Well got a free prop today its a 3 blade 13 3/4 x 20 SS im going to try and replace my 14" x 19p aluminum with this. What can I expect see as far as differences. The boat is a V-bottom Mark Twain 17.5 I/O 140 merc cruiser weights about 2200lbs. The old aluminum one is pitted and in very rough shape. I have a replacement thats the exact specs but I thought I might try the 20p out first. Is this a good or bad idea? Thanks for any help.

Steve try it and then come back with the WOT RPM and speed, and we can tell you what is going on, but we need the gear ratio of your lower unit.
