Changing Thermostat on 3.0L - Which Parts?

When changing the thermostat on a 3.0L, should I change the thermostat and the top gasket only? Anyone recommend also changing the sleeve and the lower side gasket? I can see those 4 parts in the diagram but it seems like most of the kids only have the top gasket and thermostat. Is it common to change those other 2 parts?

Parts I am referring to are:
Thermostat And Hoses(Standard Cooling)(S/N: 0L341000 And Up)

Thermostat Part #807252T2
Gasket Part #331792

Sleeve Part #806922
Lower Gasket #806871

Every kit I've ever bought has both gaskets and the thermostat. No reason to replace the sleeve.

Thanks for the specifics. So that kit you posted shows different "Replaces O.E. Part #'s". Is that the right one for my engine?

Not sure, but that is the kit I use on my 2005

The Mercruiser kit number is 807252Q5 that would crossover to sierra marine Part # 18-3647 that's found here on iboats,
