We just purchased a 98 chaparral 180le with a 4.3 engine. It came with three props. The aluminum prop that im guessing is the origianl is a 23 pitch. There is a damaged 23p stainless turbo prop and currently there is a turbo 19p stainless prop on the boat. It seems like the 19p isnt popping the boat on plane quick enough when pulling tubes. Havent tried it on skis yet. What prop pitch is usually used on a boat this size?
