chargeing batt 1972 evinrude

i am new to boating just bought a 1972 starcraft with 100 hp evenrude model#100293 r does this boat charge the batt after it is started i dont see a alt. like a car.learning as i go along.

I have the same question, but I am running a Force 85. I have looked all over that motor and do not see anything resembling an alternator or even a method to spin one.

Do I need to charge my battery after each use?

The stator makes sense and I also looked at it like a billion times. :$
