I have 2 batteries in series(24V).
I have 2-12volt chargers.
Do I have to disconnect the batteries(+..-)making them 2-12 volts,to charge?
and If I bought a 2 bank charger would I have to seperate the batteries to charge?
I'm thinking I don't have to,for each situation because they are seperate circuits when charging,,am I right?

Re: charging 24V

Your plan is ok with one exception. If you buy a "used" 2-bank charger, make sure it has isolated grounds. If the charger has two Positive leads and only one negative lead, you cannot use it on a 24V system usless you break the jumper between the two batteries. If the charger has two positive and two negative leads you are good to go.

Thanks for the quick reply.
I'll watch out for the seperate grounds.
