Charging Battery from outboard

Hi, I just purchased a fish finder and the battery i was using (it is only a small one) went flat after 5 hours. I was just wondering if it is possible that on my outboard 40 HP ( 6H4 L 305154, 40 HM ) I can charge the battery while moving?

Hook the fish finder to the starting battery. Leave the other one at home.

It's pull start there is no starting battery.
