Hello. I have a 1995 evinrude 40. #E40TLEOD. My question is, how do I tell if I have a 4amp or 12amp charging system? The reason I ask is the manual calls for different legnths when doing a preliminary setting of the spark control rod. Its either 2 1/6, 2 1/2, or 2 5/8.
